Develop a data-driven product or service prototype that leverages low-cost underwater observation tools from an ROV with AUV capabilities to generate actionable insights for coastal communities. Your solution should showcase how data collected underwater (e.g., video footage, depth, temperature, salinity) can be processed, visualised, and applied without dependence on external authorities—serving local environmental awareness, livelihood planning, or early warning systems.
A physical ROV prototype may be provided and you will receive simulated or pre-recorded sensor data and imagery, and your task will be to build an interface, processing logic, or service layer that makes this data meaningful and usable to end users in a coastal community context.
