TLN04 - AI agents and skills for maritime risk management

The challenge consists of prototyping an AI assistant for maritime operators to continuously watch the maritime situation of specific areas, assess risks, provide recommendations and facts for the management of identified risks. Possible target customers include critical infrastructure operators (offshore wind, submarine cables, coastal datacenters, etc.), shipowners and maritime insurance stakeholders.  The prototype is developed with state-of-the-art generative AI, using autonomous agents and skills. The core value of the challenge is to build a consistent library of skills to query and provide reasoning on various maritime datasets. Such a library has a strong reuse potential for various applications in a dual perspective: civil risk management, environmental surveillance and naval intelligence.
