RIM04: Artistic representation of St. Lawrence data to optimize discoverability

The St. Lawrence River is a complex and dynamic ecosystem, rich in scientific data that is essential to its understanding and preservation. However, despite its abundance and diversity, this data often remains difficult to access or invisible to the general public and certain decision-makers. This challenge aims to improve the discoverability of data related to the St. Lawrence River by offering innovative and interactive artistic representations. By combining science, technology, and creativity, participants will be invited to explore various forms of digital art (interactive visualizations, sonifications, immersive works, augmented reality, etc.) to make scientific data more intuitive, attractive, and accessible to all. The ultimate goal is to raise awareness, inform, and engage a wide audience, thereby promoting a better collective understanding of environmental issues related to the St. Lawrence.
