      • GAL01 - Smart fish route predictor

          • Join us in building an innovative AI-powered platform that transforms fisheries management through intelligent prediction and data-driven insights. Our project utilizes advanced machine learning techniques to analyze Sea Surface Temperature (SST), Sea Surface Salinity (SSS), ocean depth, chlorophyll concentration, salinity levels, and historical catch records to identify high-potential fishing zones and recommend optimal fishing routes.  Beyond fishing zone prediction, the system also incorporates spawning ground detection to support sustainable fishing practices and marine resource conservation. Additionally, the platform features market price trend prediction, analyzing historical fish market prices, seasonal patterns, supply-demand fluctuations, and catch data to forecast future price movements. This enables fishermen and fisheries businesses to make informed decisions about when to fish and sell their catch for maximum profitability.  Our goal is to reduce fuel consumption, improve catch efficiency, increase economic returns, and promote sustainable fisheries management through the power of artificial intelligence and oceanographic data.  We are seeking passionate developers, data scientists, researchers, designers, and innovators who are excited to solve real-world challenges using technology.           • Our prototype is already functional. During the 48-hour challenge, we will focus on integrating live data, improving AI model accuracy, enhancing the interactive map and dashboard, optimizing system performance, and completing testing to deliver a polished, production-ready prototype.
