      • SAL02 - The Port of Tomorrow – Clean Logistics and Sustainability in the All Saints Bay

          • THINK Global: Aligned with the IMO (International Maritime Organization) GHG Reduction Strategy and the shipping industry's Net-Zero goal by 2050, transforming local bottlenecks into global efficiency models. ACT Local (Bahian Reality): The logistics sector is leading the global energy transition. Tecon Salvador, nestled in the Bay of All Saints, emerges as a hub of excellence in the South Atlantic. The challenge for Salvador and the world is to integrate new ideas to optimize docking flows, maximize energy efficiency for waiting fleets, and create safe "Green Corridors" for marine fauna in the bay.

Systemic Vision: How can creativity and data intelligence help build the "Port of Tomorrow" in Bahia?

Connection to the Ocean Decade Challenges:

            • Challenge 4: Develop a sustainable and equitable ocean economy.
            • Challenge 5: Unlock ocean-based solutions to climate change.
          • What the challenge owner would like to develop over 48h
          • The focus is to find innovative ways (whether optimization platforms, gamified operational processes, or service design) to scale the logistical and environmental efficiency of port operations collaboratively and cleanly.
