The St. Lawrence River is a vital migration route for many species, some of which travel long distances to reproduce, feed, or escape hostile conditions. This challenge invites participants to highlight data on the migration of iconic species in the St. Lawrence by developing interactive or narrative tools that facilitate understanding and promote awareness among different audiences. Particular attention may be paid to using this knowledge to anticipate key events, such as the opening of certain fisheries, in relation to the seasonal presence of species. The goal is to strengthen collective knowledge of the river's migratory dynamics, while supporting sustainable management practices and awareness-raising tailored to the environmental realities of the St. Lawrence.
