Dataquapark: An animated short film inspired by real ocean data! This story follows a mother who works as an ocean scientist and shares her passion with her child. As she tells stories about the ocean, her child imagines a beautiful and fragile world, inspired by real facts and data. The film will mix science, emotion, and imagination — and help people of all ages better understand and feel connected to the ocean. During the hackathon, we will create a short animation. The goal is to make people feel and learn — using art and storytelling to show the hidden beauty and challenges of ocean science. The film will include multiple references to the data and tools used in marine research. I’m looking for a fun, creative, and kind team: artists, animators, writers, data lovers, musicians… anyone who wants to bring science to life in a new way.
