Three years after its official launch, the Campus brought together all its stakeholders around the European and international theme with a key note speaker: Sigi Gruber, in charge of marine resources at the European Commission's DG Research and Innovation.
Two round tables were also organised on the attractiveness and influence of a territory that has a strong presence in the maritime sector such as the Campus, with the participation of several international maritime clusters and delegations (European Marine Board, European Business & Innovation Centres Network, South Coast Marine Cluster, etc.) and four international companies as part of the Narwhal Challenge.
More than 250 people, researchers, entrepreneurs, institutions, associations, etc. gathered to discuss the European maritime strategy and how the Campus community they represent and its actions can be integrated into it.

The first issue of a new journal for marine science and technologies stakeholders outside our community was distributed at the Assembly: SONAR. This biannual journal will be distributed first by e-mail and then in printed form on the occasion of major events. It will be backed by an important event in the area and will deal with the community's actions and its relations with its international partners, notably through a thematic dossier.
The new Campus website you are on was also put online during the week of this second Campus Assembly. The design is more modern, the ergonomics more adapted, with a shorter address: www.campusmer.fr. You will be able to find your usual headings: news, agenda, job offers, etc., with a few additions and improvements: the possibility to register for events organised by the Campus, reading the online newsletters, etc. In addition, you can use your existing Technopôle Brest-Iroise/Campus mondial de la mer account or create one to manage your personal data, subscriptions to newsletters and mailings, registration for Campus events and other future functionalities.
