- Offshore wind development raises key questions about its interaction with marine ecosystems.The French National Observatory of Offshore Wind (ONEM) focuses specifically on understanding and monitoring these biodiversity–energy interactions—yet acquired datas remains complex, fragmented, and difficult to explore. Your challenge is to design an intuitive tool to browse, visualize, and connect ONEM biodiversity datasets, enabling a clearer understanding of environmental impacts.Participants will work with diverse data types, including:
- Vector data (protected areas, species distribution, offshore infrastructure, telemetric path, ... )
- Raster data (habitats, environmental conditions)
- Acoustic data (underwater noise detection of mamals)
- Radar datan (bird and bat movements, migration patterns)
- Scientific reports and impact studies (PDFs)
The objective is to create a solution that allows users to cross-reference ecological and technical data, reveal patterns, and support science-based decision-making.
