In view of the delegation's profile and fields of application, the Campus mondial de la mer team concocted a programme of visits and meetings with laboratories and companies working in the field of algae.

The main objective was to introduce the delegation to our territory and its expertise in order to consider future collaborations. Following the reception of the delegation, contacts with other actors of the community will also be proposed.
Some key words characterising the profile of the entrepreneurs: production of textile from fish skin, production of samphire, aquaculture, sea cucumber, oyster and macro-algae farming, integrated multi-trophic aquaculture, water analysis.

For several years, Cadiz and Brest, twin cities, have been collaborating on several actions related to the maritime economy: the European projects Atlantic Blue Tech (led by the Technopôle Brest-Iroise between 2014 and 2016) and Access2Sea (in which Investir en Finistère and the Technopole Quimper-Cornouaille are currently involved), Ocean Hackathon® (hosted in Cadiz since 2020), or again within the framework of SEA-EU, the European University of the Seas (in which the University of Brest is a partner).
