        A stand and a meeting around the European project ProtoAtlantic

        Technopôle Brest-Iroise has been participating in the European project ProtoAtlantic since 2017. This project, which brings together 8 partners from the Atlantic Area, aims to stimulate innovation, from idea to market, in the field of the blue economy. ProtoAtlantic ends on June 30th. Come and meet the partners and exchange with them on the results of the project.

        A workshop co-constructed by the Technopôle Brest-Iroise/Campus mondial de la mer, Blue-Cloud 2026, EMODnet, VesselAI and the European Ocean Observing System (EOOS).

        Alice de Joux, project coordinator in the Campus mondial de la mer team, will look back on seven years of Ocean Hackathon®.

         

        Presentation of the BPGO Ocean Innovation Trophy to Gwilen

        May 24, 12:00-12:15, Crédit Maritime/BPGO stand

        The Campus mondial de la mer, partner of the Trophies for several years. In this context, Michel Gourtay, President of the Brest-Iroise Technopole and member of the Campus mondial de la mer Board, will present a trophy to the company Gwilen.

        Created in 2022, Gwilen is developing a new construction material (paving, earthenware) from marine sediments. The company is supported by the Technopôle Brest-Iroise entrepreneurship department.

        Note: on May 25, 2023 125, Crédit Maritime/BPGO stand, Frédéric Moncany de Saint Aignan, President of the French Maritime Cluster, will present the Ocean Innovation Trophy to Damsia, a company also supported by Technopôle Brest-Iroise.

        Presentation of the Institute's Seignelay Prize

        May 25, 12:00, France Pavilion - Campus mondial de la mer

        Benjamin Dudouet, student of the Master Science of the Sea and the Coast, mention Applied Economics: Agriculture, Sea and Environment, Specialization Sea, at the IUEM/UBO, will be awarded this prize worth 1,000 euros.

        The objective is to reward a student for his/her work in favor of the sea and to help him/her continue his/her studies, enter professional life or carry out a maritime project.
