On the occasion of the One Ocean Summit which will take place in Brest from 9 to 11 February, the Ocean Institute of the Sorbonne University Alliance in partnership with the French Navy, Plankton Planet, IFREMER, non-profit organisations, CNRS scientific teams, marine stations and foreign universities invites you to participate in its event "One Ocean: Invisible Life".
Our teams of scientists and sailors will welcome you on board La Garonne of the French Navy, moored at the Commandant Malbert quay in Brest. We will show you our research and our instruments to better observe plankton... And our projects bringing together sailors and researchers to explore and understand the invisible life of our oceans.
The one-hour visits are open to all sea lovers, from the general public to professionals. We also welcome children (over 6 years old) and schoolchildren for an educational visit.
