Mathematics to understand oceans. 2 major fundings for research teams of Campus mondial de la mer community

ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche) has just announced the list of the 40 chairs dedicated to artificial intelligence. Among selected projects, Oceanix - Physics-Informed AI for Observation-driven Ocean AnalytiX – led par Ronan Fablet, Researcher at IMT Atlantique.

In addition, the “Stochastic Transport in Upper Ocean Dynamics” project led by Ifremer (Bertrand Chapron), the Imperial College of London and INRIA features among the 37 laureates of the call for projects: ERC Synergy Grant 2019.
