Campus areas of expertise now available online

Here at Campus mondial de la mer we have a history of excellence in multiple areas and of crossing boundaries between disciplines. We are thus equipped to tackle the complex issues of today. While rooted in Brittany, we can reach out far beyond to meet the challenges of sustainable development and the blue economy. This multidisciplinary approach is evident in our expertise: this ranges from maritime defence, safety and security, shipbuilding and leisure boatbuilding, fisheries and aquaculture, through oceanography, knowledge of coastal areas, marine ecology, biotechnology and deep sea exploration, to communications and satellite observation technology as applied to the ocean.

Following the example of the Marine research infrastructures and facilities portal that we set up in 2018, a new area has just been created on the Campus website.

This space highlights our community's main areas of expertise: underwater acoustics, biodiversity and marine bioresources, marine biotechnologies, maritime cybersecurity, air and naval defence, underwater drones and robots, tackling accidental pollution of the seas, marine renewable energies, artificial intelligence and maritime data, knowledge sharing, oceanography, maritime aerospace, innovation assists maritime transport, materials for maritime applications, governance, maritime law and maritime spatial planning.
