Published twice a year in French and English, SONAR highlights the actors in marine science and technology from the Campus community. Its editorial calendar follows major milestones in the maritime sector.

Coming soon: The next SONAR will be released in December 2025 on the theme of marine data. It will build on the commitments made at the Nice UNOC and the European Ocean Pact. It will feature contributions from those involved in the digital twin of the ocean and from the collective international success of Ocean Hackathon®.
Coordinated by the Campus Mondial de la Mer, the event will take place from October 17–19, 2025 (local editions across Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe), followed by the Grand International Finale on December 2, 2025.

Sea Tech Week® is the Campus mondial de la mer’s flagship international event. A thousand participants are expected in Brest, October 6–8, 2026. Neighboring the Atlantic Ocean, Portugal will be the country of honor – an opportunity to forge new partnerships.
Some of the themes: space, blue economy, artificial intelligence, environment, climate, navigation, energy, etc.
Open to participants from academia, research, business, institutes, and more.
Building on the One Ocean Summit (Brest, 2022) and European Maritime Days (Brest, 2023), the Campus Mondial de la Mer community was strongly represented at the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference, held June 2–13, 2025, in Nice:

The community will gather on December 3, 2025, in Brest.
On the agenda: the 2025–2030 strategy, co-developed with members of the Campus governance council.
The assembly will mark both the culmination of this ocean-focused year 2025 and the launch of the renewed action plan of the Campus mondial de la mer.
