Adopt the European Commission's Charter "Restoring our Ocean and Waters"

Among the 5 missions set up, the Mission "Restore our Ocean and Waters" aims to:

• Protect and restore marine and freshwater ecosystems and biodiversity, in line with the EU Biodiversity Strategy 2030 ;
• Prevent and eliminate pollution of our oceans, seas and waters, in line with the EU Action Plan for Zero Pollution of Air, Water and Land;
• Make the sustainable blue economy carbon neutral and circular, in line with the proposed EU climate law and the holistic vision enshrined in the Sustainable Blue Economy Strategy.

Adopt the Mission Charter "Restore our Ocean and Waters".

The European Commission is proposing that any interested party, public or private, contribute to the Charter it has set up. Adopting this Charter allows any stakeholder to participate in the design, proposal and implementation of policies, programs, projects or initiatives that will contribute to the restoration of our ocean and waters.

By adopting the Charter, stakeholders can access the services and tools that the Mission deploys, the best practices of previous projects, and the tools for citizen action. The signatory stakeholder will be part of the "Mission community" and will be involved in the Mission's main forums and events, allowing it to network with other signatory communities.
