Roland Jourdain and Sophie Vercelletto, partners in the Kaïros entrepreneurial adventure - an ocean racing team founded in 2007 - decided in 2009 to set up a consultancy specialising in biosourced composite materials to become involved in the environmental transition as business leaders.

Frequently approached by explorers looking for advice and logistical support, they decided in 2013 to set up the Explore fund. Their aim: to support all those who, like them, are seeking to develop real solutions to move our society towards a new model in which people and nature have their rightful place.

Their passion for exploration, the ocean and living things has now led them to create We Explore, a boat made from biomaterials to inspire other enthusiasts to do things differently.
