The Campus Governance Board unveils the 2019 action plan

The 2019 action programme, based on the progress made in 2017 and 2018, is divided into 5 missions:

1. Observe, anticipate and monitor,
2. Lead, create synergies and bring out projects,
3. Host events, researchers, assets and project leaders,
4. Share knowledge on marine science and technology,
5. Promote and promote the community.

It has been illustrated by some of the highlights to come:

• the promotion of the research infrastructure and facilities portal set up in 2018,
• the national deployment of Ocean Hackathon® after 3 successful editions,
• the identification of training courses in the maritime field, in line with their business opportunities, made available to the general public,
• the organization of the IMBER Future Oceans2 conference in Brest in June 2019.

A press conference was held following this governance board meeting.

Michel Gourtay, President of Technopôle Brest Iroise , Nadia Ameziane, Head of the Concarneau Marine Station, Yves-Marie Paulet, Vice-President Mer at UBO, and Vincent Kerbaol, President of CLS Brest, were able to present the strategic orientations of Campus mondial de la mer and answer questions from the journalists present.
