Flinders University, Australia joins CELADON and the french maritime research
- On 4th of July, the association CELADON received the australian Flinders University to act the university as a member of the association.
On this ocasion, Dr. Colin Stirling ( President and Vice-Chanceler of Flinders university), Karl Sammut (Director of the Centre for Maritime Engineering, Control and Imaging) and Tony Kariacou (Director of Defense partnerships of Flinders university) attended sea trials in brest harbor operated on Sea Test Base's site.
The partnership between both entities bring the oportunity to create and enhance innovating projects around maritime drones and submarines domains.
CELADON is an association gathering martime engineering actors (Thales, ECA, Technopole Brest-Iroise, ISEN Yncréa Ouest, École Navale, ENSTA Bretagne, IMT Atlantique, Ifremer, UBO) oprating in Brest and managing the sea test base. They provide to their members such as companies, universities, R&D teams the ways to do sea trials necessary to the development of new technologies in maritime domain.
