While rooted in Brittany, we can reach out far beyond to meet the challenges of sustainable development and the blue economy. This multidisciplinary approach is evident in our expertise: this ranges from maritime defence, safety and security, shipbuilding and leisure boatbuilding, fisheries and aquaculture, through oceanography, knowledge of coastal areas, marine ecology, biotechnology and deep sea exploration, to communications and satellite observation technology as applied to the ocean.
