Cradle of Ocean Hackathon®, Brest welcomes the event for the 6th edition by bringing the Campus mondial de la mer together. Ocean Hackathon® is a funny and convivial way to share the large expertise of this first French community in marine science and technology. The topics are various and we're sure you'll find something to suit your needs:

            • education and citizen science to learn more about tide, marine life, maritime history and major discoveries, marine pollution, etc
            • navigation (route optimization, man over board drift forecast, safety and risk evaluation)
            • coastal issues (marine submersion evaluation, discovery of the coast from the sea)
            • technology (detection of submarine buried objects, marine drone)
            • sustainable fishing
            • seaweed issues (green algae prediction, fertilizer spreading evaluation)
            • marine science (plankton better knowledge)
            • patents in marine and maritime sectors

While some topics are very lacal, others concern more distant areas such as coral reefs or polar regions.
