After eight years at the Institute of Marine Research in Bergen, IMBeR International Project Office (IPO) in Norway moved to Canada on 1 April 2020. The IPO is now hosted at Dalhousie University in Halifax, with support from the Government of Canada and is housed in the Steele Ocean Sciences Building with our other co-sponsors: The Ocean Frontier Institute, MEOPAR and the Ocean Tracking Network.

"The IMBeR International Project Office (IPO) that was initially hosted at IUEM in Brest (2005-2012), has moved to Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. A second International Project Office,  has also been established at the East China Normal University in Shanghai, China. We are looking forward to working with our new sponsors when we all have a chance to meet again!" Lisa Maddison, Deputy Director of IMBeR-IPO.
