RespectOcean

The RespectOcean association aims to :

- To form an active and committed network of companies and other players in the maritime and coastal economy, united around a charter of commitment to the sustainable development of human and economic activities at sea and on the coast;

- To encourage, promote and disseminate best practice in the maritime and coastal economy;

- To bring together and encourage dialogue between the players involved in this area (companies, associations, organisations, public bodies, etc.), particularly with regard to their best practices and innovations, as well as the implementation of their concrete commitments;

- To become a benchmark for other stakeholders, particularly public authorities and civil society players, in terms of implementing best practice, preserving marine and coastal biodiversity, and combating and adapting to climate change,

- To organise events around themes related to its above-mentioned purpose;

- To help promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in relation to the sustainable blue economy.
